The DCA test ranges provide UTM-controlled coastal environments for unmanned T&E in three discrete areas, allowing for stepped "crawl, walk, run" development or more advanced operational based trials, all away from large numbers of uninvolved people
Take-off and landing sites are not restricted to the Heliport with the use, under DCA's coordination, of Chesil Beach and Portland Port.
